Frequently Asked Questions

What to we do to your flowers?

Once we receive your flower arrangements, we deconstruct, silica dry, and then arrange them in shadow boxes so you can enjoy them for years to come. We pride ourselves on our non-invasive and sustainable preservation techniques. When our flowers are returned post-preservation, there is no residue or coating on them like there would be with other common preservation-techniques, like resin. Our goal is to make them look and feel as fresh as possible.

Where do we service?

We are currently based in Washington, DC.

At this time, we only accept drop-offs and pickups within our local area. This decision is aimed at guaranteeing a swift turnaround period, upholding the high quality of our products, and providing our valued customers with a personalized and attentive experience.

Do we deliver?

At this time, we do not offer delivery.

When should you place an order?

Place your order as soon as possible, as we have limited preserving space, and the process itself can take up to four weeks.

At checkout we allow you to schedule the drop-off date up to 6 months in advance. If you require a scheduling window beyond this, please don't hesitate to contact us via our contact form.

The drop-off appointment should be scheduled as close to your event date as possible to give your flowers the best chance at preserving well.

How long do our products last?

When cared for properly (kept dry and out of direct light) they can last for years to come.

Keep in mind that with time and exposure to sunlight, it is normal for brightly colored flowers to naturally fade.

What flowers can we preserve?

We can preserve most flowers including roses, peonies, ranunculus, sunflowers, daisies, dahlias, delphinium, and mums.

Please note that colors may change a little during the preservation process. For example, red will become darker and white changes to cream. Pink, orange, yellow, and purple typically stay true to color. As with any natural product, there will always be variation and exceptions.

Also keep in mind that the state of your flowers when they are brought to us matters a great deal. While we do our best to freeze your flowers in time, we cannot reverse any signs of wear and tear, such as rips, bug bites, or excessive wilting, which is why we emphasize the importance of getting them to us as close to your event date as possible.

How to care for our products?

Keep them dry, away from excessive humidity, and out of direct sunlight. But most importantly, make sure you enjoy them!

Do we offer customizations?

Yes, we are more than happy to make adjustments to our designs. Just write us an email and feel free to include pictures to give us an idea of what you’re looking for.
